Al-Wasl plaza is the centerpiece of Expo 2020 Dubai. Al Wasl Plaza, World’s largest 360-degree projection dome. Dubai is home to this wonder. 

Al Wasl means ‘Connection’ In Arabic. This dome is the heart of Expo 2020 Dubai. 

Al Wasl Plaza is a visual marvel for the visitors. It’s a 130 metre wide and 67.5-metre tall dome that doubles as a 360-degree laser projection surface, making it the largest of its kind. 250+ projectors work to project images onto the surface of the Al Wasl Plaza dome.

The dome’s trellis framework is constructed entirely of steel. Isn’t it fascinating?

Do you love chit-chatting? If yes, then Opti is gonna be your best friend. Especially for your children. 

You may find this robot at the walkways of the expo site dancing with their buddies and cracking a few jokes. These AI-based robots are the perfect demo of innovation.

Opti is one of the friendliest robots in the town. This little guy engages in flash mobs, stand uprights and safely operates in many other activities for 24 hours. 

• Service stations based on the national tree of the UAE

The Ghaf tree was declared as the national tree of the UAE because of its culture and traditional significance. 

A service station at Expo 2020 Dubai has been designed on the exoskeleton of the Ghaf tree structure, a strong symbol of resilience considering the region’s harsh weather conditions.

It uses traditional hydrocarbon sources for power, solar and wind turbines for power generation, as well as carbon fibre to power its canopy.

• SpaceX rocket at Expo site

There’s a giant SpaceX falcon 9 rocket replica to welcome the visitor into the US pavilion. Reinforcing the space theme, pieces of the moon and a Mars rover are used. 

SpaceX, the rocket company of Elon Musk, represents a historic achievement for US space explorations as it is the first private company to launch astronauts to and from space.

This replica of the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket makes the US pavilion a must-visit spot in Expo 2020 Dubai.
